With your donations, we support all adult health services Auckland City Hospital and its associated sites, including Greenlane Clinical Centre and Buchanan Rehabilitation Centre.

We go beyond what is government-funded to help hospital teams do even more for patients and whānau in their care. Our supporters help fund projects that could not otherwise happen without donations, fundraising, partnerships and philanthropy. We are truly grateful for that support.

Auckland City Hospital is New Zealand’s largest public hospital and clinical research facility, and along with its associated sites, it serves the health needs of half a million people.

Patients and their whānau come to Auckland City Hospital from all over New Zealand.  The hospital has more than 3,500 treatment rooms and over 1,100 beds, caring for all aspects of adult health – from cancer and mental health, to maternity and emergency, and everything in between.

It is also the country’s largest medical training facility, giving rise to a new generation of healthcare professionals who are committed to excellence in patient care, research, training and community service.

With you as part of our big, connected, caring family we can advance and innovate faster for the benefit of all our health.

Those who join our Friends of Auckland City Hospital provide a small monthly gift, and support our healthcare teams to do their life’s best work.
