The Perioperative Services team looks after everyone who needs anaesthesia care so, for example, everyone who needs surgery.
As well as providing all anaesthesia care at Auckland DHB, the Perioperative Services team also provides 24/7 acute pain services for the whole hospital, and assists other services with line placement and other interventions when high-level technical skills are needed.
