Festive wishes and heartfelt thanks

I hope you are looking forward to celebrating the holidays with your loved ones. It is hard to believe we’re also celebrating our 5th birthday this summer; a celebration thanks entirely to you, our supporters.

Your donations and fundraising efforts make our work possible. We would not exist without people like you, and on behalf of the hospital teams you help, I thank you for your generous spirit.

It has been a unique half decade – we’ve endured a pandemic and seen a major health reform. Through it all, together, we have made a big impact in our hospital.

Your gifts (highlighted right) have brightened many lives across many hospital departments – helping to enhance the care and health of patients, their whānau, and our communities.

At our five year milestone, we are so grateful for all the improvements you’ve already made possible at Auckland City Hospital.

And we know the best is yet to come!

I’m proud to share a few photos (left) from our hospital teams, offering just a small glimpse of our supporters’ impact so far. Check out our news section for details about each of these successes and many more here.

Finally, I wish you and yours a happy festive season, and I hope everyone has the support they need – those who are struggling or lonely, coping with illness, or missing loved ones. Let’s look after one another.

Please note, our office will be closing on Friday 22 December and reopening on Monday 8 January.

The team and I look forward to sharing more successes with you in 2024 and over our next half decade. Together, we can continue to enhance the care provided at Auckland City Hospital, for the benefit of us all.
