Ownership and name

The Auckland Hospital Foundation website is owned and run by the Auckland Hospital Foundation, a New Zealand-owned registered charity working to financially support projects, research and education for adult health services within Auckland District Health Board.

For all donations made through this website, the name that will appear on cardholder statements is our trading name and legal name: Auckland Hospital Foundation.

Donations refund policy

We are very grateful for your support of the Auckland Hospital Foundation.  Because of the nature of charity donations, no refunds will be issued for previously-submitted donations.  Please make sure the amount you enter in the online donation form is the amount you wish to give.  Should this amount be incorrect, please contact us.  You can change or cancel future regular donation payments at any time by calling 09 307 6046 or emailing hello@aucklandhealthfoundation.org.nz.

Specific conditions relating to Direct Debit notices and disputes

1. The customer (Acceptor) agrees that the Auckland Hospital Foundation (Initiator) must give the Acceptor at least 2 days’ prior notice of each direct debit, including the first direct debit in a series.
2. Changes to the amounts or dates of a series of direct debits require 30 days’ prior notice to the Acceptor.
3. The Acceptor can also agree with the Initiator to receive a same day notice for direct debits specifically requested by the Acceptor.
4. All notices must be in writing, but can be delivered electronically, if the Acceptor has agreed that with the Initiator.
5. The Acceptor can also ask the Initiator to reverse a direct debit up to 120 days after the direct debit if:
   1. the Acceptor didn’t receive proper notice of the amount and date of the direct debit, or
   2. the Acceptor received notice but the amount or date of the direct debit is different from the amount or date on the notice.
6. If the Acceptor dishonours a direct debit but the Initiator retries it within 5 business days of the original direct debit, the Acceptor understands that the Initiator doesn’t need to notify them again about that direct debit.
