Volunteer Services take pride in working with people of all ages and from all walks for life, some of whom have won national awards for their dedication and outstanding service.
The hospital looks for volunteers who have a mature outlook on life, are team players, fun, thrive in a multicultural environment, and have a strong focus on customer service. If you have high-level communication skills, patience and tact, the Volunteer Services team would love to hear from you.
Volunteer Services ask for a commitment of one shift per week (minimum), on fixed 3-4 hour timeslots. The team is looking for a long-term commitment of at least one year from all volunteers.
The team would love to help you find your ideal volunteering role, which aligns with your lifestyle and plays a crucial part in supporting the non-clinical care of our patients and their whānau.
