If you were admitted to hospital today, would you be prepared? Or would you need a helping hand? Patients facing unexpected hospital stays often arrive alone, without the essentials, and without the means to get the basics.

People come from across New Zealand to Auckland City Hospital for life-saving care. Stroke patients, transplant patients, high-risk maternity patients, and trauma patients arrive every day. And around 72,000 people come through our Emergency Department each year.
Patient care packs are much-needed and appreciated gifts for over 40,000 patients at Auckland City Hospital every year. These packs provide patients with necessities, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, earplugs and an eye mask to aid sleep in the busy, bright, and noisy ward environment.
For $10, you can make someone’s hospital stay a little easier, with the gift of a patient care pack. Every $10 you donate will help another patient through a difficult time.
