Fundraise for us

Looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and healthcare workers?

Get creative and explore ways to support us through fundraising.

There are no rules. The main thing is to have fun and pledge whatever you can to help healthcare workers and patients in our hospitals. They need us and we need you, now, more than ever.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for creating a successful fundraising event

Dream up a challenge
  • Think of a creative event idea
If you need ideas, please see a list of fundraising events here.
  • Research legalities
If you're planning to run a raffle or collection, it's important to be aware of the relevant fundraising regulations. Please make sure you're familiar with these guidelines, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us for clarification.

  • Set up your fundraising page at www.justgiving.com
Just Giving will ask you to set up an account, this is painless.

Everything is taken care of for you, from acknowledgments and receipts to all other communications which makes the process incredibly simple and hassle-free. Just Giving will send the funds you raise to your charity of choice. Your donors will be automatically receipted. Here’s a quick guide.
You can share your fundraising page straight from Just Giving via email or Facebook.
  • Donation method
Your online proceeds will be provided to Auckland Hospital Foundation via Just Giving. If you collect offline funds please either donate these via our website or bank transfer. Auckland Hospital Foundation is listed as a payee with all major banks in New Zealand.

This is our preferred method of donation but if you have a cash donation, please reach out to our team to make arrangements.

  • Event promotion and sponsorship
Due to limited resources, our team is unable to directly manage or organise your event for you. However, we would love to support and promote your efforts so please let us know about your event.

  • If you’re reaching out for sponsorships from organisations, please get in touch with us, and we can provide a signed letter of support.

You can make a difference.

Your support will help Auckland City Hospital’s teams do even more for patients and whānau in their care, beyond what government funding can provide.
