HOW YOU CAN HELP

Improving experiences & enhancing treatments

Philanthropy could help the team move faster with innovative care solutions and keep pace with global technological developments, such as proton therapy and expanding “hospital in the home” initiatives. Donations would enhance the patient experience with family spaces and areas where people can recharge – improving the overall atmosphere and environment.

New state-of-the-art facilities, such as a brachytherapy suite, would improve experiences for people with gynaecological and other cancers. Despite being the region’s only brachytherapy provider, Auckland City Hospital does not have a dedicated space for this treatment. Currently, treatment is provided across multiple locations in the hospital, creating a stressful experience at a challenging time. Beyond government funding alone, these facilities rely on us. You can help people through one of life’s greatest challenges.
